The conversation's getting stale

OH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
We've finally finished the drill performance!
Man it was exciting... and a little scary to be honest.
It was freaking hot as well.

Anyway, funny things happened today.
There was this Ben&Jerry ice-cream stall.
YanBing thought the first 200 ice-creams were free,
so she ordered one immediately...
to find out that it wasn't free.
So she had to fork out $3.50!
Poor thing.

So then later on during lunch...
there was free Ben&Jerry ice-cream...
HAHA.
There was strawberry, cookies 'n' cream & banana flavours.
All have names, but I don't really know what they're called.
I love banana and cookies-n-cream! ;)
YUMMY.
Too bad it's expensive, or i'll eat it every week! ;P
Heh.

Yupp... I guess that's all, for now.

ONE MORE DAY TO PARIS!!!!!!
can't wait.

22/11
Yeah.
Argued with my mom early this morning.
Went to school.
Did drill with gloves on.
Rehearsal went smoothly, although some don't think so.
Had to stay back to watch the filming of our drill formation.
We really tried our best.
Supposed to be off at 11am.
But she had to keep us back and talk and talk and talk and talk...
Til' about 1.30pm.
And after being dismissed,
She HAD to keep one of us back to nag and talk and scold and waste saliva...
Until 4.30pm.
WHAT A WASTE OF MY FRIGGIN' TIME!
Then a bunch of us went to Clementi Central.
The free shuttle bus to IMM came...
And we got on... how random.
Went there to find that it had been revamped.
WOW.
Long John Silver's next.
I had fries... only. ;)
Then walked around...
Hm... took a cab to Chinese Garden with help from a friend! ;)
THEN, went home.
Everything was alright... (the quarrel)
:) I thank the Lord.
Watched Chasing Liberty after Project Runway.
GOSH... both of the shows were damn good.
That actor from C.L...so HANDSOME!!!
He's British I believe... from his accent.
PHOAR.
:P

23/11
YAY.
Woke up today.
Had tuition.
Went to VIVOCITY.
Walked around...
Went into ZARA.
My mom tried on this BEAUUUUUUUUUUTIFUL black top.
Long-sleeved cos' it'd be cold in Paris.
I'll take a picture of it if I can. ;)
I almost got something from there...
But decided against it. ;)
Walked into Forever 21, Topshop and Fox to name a few.
Some nice clothes they have in there.
Didn't get any though. ;)
I bought my stuff at I.P Zone.
Damn cool stuff, in my opinion. ;)
I'll be wearing them in PARIS!
YAY.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
<3
Oh, and we're not going to London anymore.
The train ticket is simply too expensive.
I mean... 415 euro for a round trip ticket to London and back to Paris?!
NO!!!!
I'll wait for another time perhaps.
ONE DAY I WILL VISIT LONDON.
I was THAT close.
So it IS possible! :)
UK!
UK!
UK!

Okay... gotttttta go now. ;)

-----------------------------------
yeah, that's the same old story
you tell it to all the girls
i ain't gonna believe your crap
so SAVE IT baby, save it

Tuesday, November 21, 2006 7:03 pm

Well.
Today sucked.
ALMOST.
Firstly, in the morning...
my mom went to cut her hair.
STUPID me followed.
In the end I also had my hair CHOPPED off.
It's EXTREMELY short now, and my fringe is like... GONE!
My mom said...
'NOW THAT LOOKS LIKE A CHANGE OF HAIRSTYLE'.
I'm really considering stuffing a cap on my head tomorrow during the OPEN HOUSE rehearsal.
SHRIEK.
Oh...
and my whole fam went to HarbourFront today.
My dad planned on watching a movie with us,
but something cropped up and so the time passed...
MOVIE IDEA: Scrapped.
Went to HarbourFront to ask for a refund from this speaker I bought wrongly.
I don't wanna talk much about it...
but I got kinda angry...
I don't even KNOW why i was angry.
I just felt anger... and pissed-off-ness.
Anyway... the mood continued even up to dinner.
At... the WHITE DOG CAFE or whatever it was called.
The food looked DAMN good.
EEYURGH.
But I sat down there like an idiot... looking at the rest of them eating.
THE TEMPTATION WAS GREAT.
But... I am stubborn.
When I said I didn't want to eat...
I meant it... and kept my word.
Stupid me.
STUPID STUPID ME.
EYURGHHHH.
Why am I so affected by something so small.

Monday, November 20, 2006 8:01 pm

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODNESS.

I received my letter to get my IC done today.

And also a letter from my mate! :)

She's brilllllliant. Thanks for the CD babe!

AWWWWWWWH.

McFLY will be on repeat for quite some time now.
Their new album is SO SO SO SO SO awesome...
I think I've fallen in love with them all over again.
Ha.
Anyway, Dad asked if we wanted to go to the UK as well.
MY GOODNESS.
I WANT TO.
I have yet to tell him that my dream is to go there.
OOPS.
We'll see what happens. :)

OOOOOOOSHHHHHH.
Life's SO GOOD.
xxxx

Sunday, November 19, 2006 1:01 pm

Gosh, I'm STILL SICK.
I can't go on like this.
EYURGH.
MOM's birthday was cool.
She was also having diarrhoea at that time...
I'll be praying for her.
She still hasn't recovered fully.
A pink strawberry cake was bought for her.
LOOKS disgusting... but it was well nice.
:P
Anyway, yesterday was awwwwwful.
I didn't expect to go to TCT at 10!!
I thought it was 11.30!

So i was late.
They were putting make-up on when I arrived.
I now actually hate it.
Make-up that is...
EEEEEEEYUCK.
I must be weird, you may think.
BUT... I don't understand why you need so much of it.
It makes your face so... stiff.
Its like... you can't cry because your mascara(YES, I KNOW WHAT IT IS NOW) will smudge.
Anyway, I think it's just a phase, and I'll grow out of it.
SOONER OR LATER.

The Malay dance was a success, in my opinion.
I did not actually miss a step.
Or almost.
The whole audience was looking... i think.
I couldn't really see.
The spotlight was on US, not on them...
It made me feel better, to be honest.
YEAHH...
No more stage fright... for now.
I think I looked ridiculous.
I must thank the Lord for not letting me screw this performance up. :)
Okay...
Enough said.
BYEEEEEEEE. ;)

x

-----------
if there's somethin' that you wanna tell me
you'd better speak your mind, baby
right in front of me
don't go talkin' behind my back
cos' it ain't your kinda act
you're just a bitch to me

Song on iTunes: Unsaid Things- McFLY.

Well, I think I took too long to post...
It's gonna be a long post, so hang in there.
So for the Encounter, I went with Off. Grace to the Salvation Army...
That's at Upper Bukit Timah.
Actually I've been wondering if I should still call her Officer...
But if I don't call her Officer, it seems weird.
Anyway...
Reached there, so many people were gathered there.
There was this powerpoint playing and it was kinda funny...

Song on iTunes: Surfer Babe- McFLY.

Well, got to meet the rest of the people in my group...
All girls!
Woosh.
I saw these non-participants playing with the guitar...
Psyched man...
I'd never have the courage to go up and ask if I could hold the guitar.
It seems branded.
OOFT.
So once everyone was here, they asked us to go to our rooms.
YES, there were beds and everything!

Song on iTunes: She's No You- Jesse McCartney

Anyway, I met my room-mates, who were from my group also...
Didn't really feel too comfortable at first,
'Cos they were friends and I was like... a third party, in a way.
I had to sleep on the top of the double decker bed...
And there was like... no barrier...
So one can supposedly just turn and fallllll.
Ha.

Song on iTunes: Who's David- Busted

So then there was worship.
I was totally focussing on the guitar at one point...
These people came up to pray for me...
I couldn't help but get emotional and cry...
I was SO SO SO shocked when this person someone was praying for fell.
Like... just fell back.
I was like... WHAT???
Then more and more people just dropped down.
I thought they fainted or something...
Got hit by 2 people falling down.
Unlucky me was behind both of them...
GRR...

Song on iTunes: 5 Colours In Her Hair (US Version)- McFLY.

Anyway... it was an emotional 3 days for me.
I can't remember one day when I did not cry during worship...
I was feeling kinda awkward as well when I didn't know what to do as they prayed.
I was freaking out... mostly.

Song on iTunes: Invincible- Jesse McCartney

So... uh... the lessons were interesting.
Talked about Baptism...
Talked about Sin...
Cleared all my sins... I actually felt much better.
Must be a psychological thing.
Anyway, I believe the Lord exists now.
I'm sorry I ever doubted him.
OOSH.
The food, that was the best thing of all!
Haha.
Great food.
Also... the first night was damn cold.
The aircon was blowing right in my face.
Not to mention that the blankets were like... hol(e)y.
Wonder if anyone will get that pun.

Song on iTunes: Some Hearts-Carrie Underwood

Okay.
Bonded with the group,
Felt more at ease...
But I still find it difficult to express my feelings.
OOSH.

Song on iTunes: I Can't Hate You Anymore- Nick Lachey

YAWNNNNNN.
So one of my room-mates kept telling everybody I fell down the double-decker bed in the middle of the night...and then got back up.
It was hilarious...
Many people actually believed it.
HA.
WOOSH.
On the last day of worship...
I fell...
YES.
I trusted the Lord, and fell.

Song on iTunes: Broccoli-McFLY

Song on iTunes: Halo- Bethany Joy Lenz

Alright.
So on Sunday, after service, I came home to take a shower.
Then we headed to my uncle's house for dinner.
It was his birthday.
YEAH.
The chocolate cake was GOOOOOOOOOD.
We watched Wendy Wu as well.
I wish I had cable.
I would be stuck on MTV the whole day.
I think. :)

To digress a while, i just found this bruise on my knee.
:O Where did THAT come from!!!
Anyway, after coming back from the dinner.
My spectacle lens just... dropped off.
DARNNNNNN.

Song on iTunes: Shame On Me-Ryan Cabrera

Song on iTunes: Can't Let You Go- Jesse McCartney

The next day, MONDAY.
Went to Suntec to fix it.
My parents and grandfather and sister went too.
WOOSH. FAMILY OUTING! ;)
It was actually alright.
Then later on at around 3.30pm...
TUITION.
OOFT.
Until 7pm!
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT.
Haha.
Watched ANTM.
Woah... Sarah was eliminated.
SO SADDDD...
I don't really like Joanie, even if she takes wonderful pictures.
I liked Sarah... so... down-to-earth in a way?
Anyway... JADE... GRRR.
I heard she was in S'pore.
Or is in S'pore.
BUT WHO CARES.

Song on iTunes: I Think We're Alone Now- The Click 5

TUESDAY.

Songs on iTunes: Wake Up- Hilary Duff

TUESDAY.
Ha.
Woke up with a major case of sore-throat and back-ache.
That's when the torment begins.
Caught a fever in the afternoon.
Quarrelled with my mom over folding clothes.
OOSH.
She's sick too.
What can I do.
Got to bed at around 4.30 pm.
Woke up at around 7.30pm.
Felt worse than ever.
So disorientated.
Oh well.

Song on iTunes: Right Back In The Water- Jesse McCartney

WOOSH.
I think I sing quite well when I have the flu.
HAA.
Should have the flu ALWAYSSSSSSSS.

EEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYERRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Okay, feel much better.
My mom...
Always asking me to study.
MANNNNNNNNNNNN.
I still have one more month.... RIGHT?!!!!!!
I know I should start soon.
BUT, it's the holidays for goodness sake.
LET ME HAVE SOME TIME OFF!!!!
I've been working my ass off for a YEARRRRRRRRR.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Song on iTunes: No Worries-McFLY

I guess that's it for today.
OH, and everyone should go watch STEP UP.
DAMN good.
YUP, the dancing is awesome.
Besides, you get to watch around 2 hours of a bisexual dancing around.
:P
Channing Tatum is HOTTTTTTTTT.
That's what the magazines say. He's bisexual.
I wonder if it's true...
:(
Okay, gotta go study.
ARMY COMMANDANT's orders.
For that, NO BIRTHDAY CAKE TOMORROW!
YEAH.

-------------------
so what if I'm mean.
she's mean-err.
let her take the piss.
I get the last laugh.

Sunday, November 12, 2006 10:28 pm

I'M BACK!!!

As you can probably see, I'm really happy.
Why?
Well, it's probably because the Encounter camp was good.
It opened my eyes to God.
WEEEEEELLLLLLLL... never have I expected myself to be so....
religious, in a way. ;)
I'm going to like my NEW life. XD
Woosh.
I'll fill in the details later, because I can't really see right now...
My spectacle's lens fell off.
SIGH.

adios amigos.

Friday, November 10, 2006 4:10 pm

WOOSH.
There's great news in store!
WAHOOOO.

I'M GOING TO PARIS!
Apparently. :)

That's because Dad's going for a seminar,
and he asked if we wanted a holiday as well. ;)
I'm well chuffed.
CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!
I'm going to see the freaking Eiffel Tower!
YES.
Anyway... another piece of good news.
I was listening to Power 98 at around 11 plus.
I requested for a McFLY song.
Never in the world did I expect them to play
STAR GIRL!
Oh my goodness.

I was like, sleeping in bed...
then I heard the song and freaked out!
WOOOSHHH.
Glad they are getting airplay!
WOAH!!!
YES YES YES YES YES.
McFLY will rule the skies!
YOW!

Okay, chill.
I'm going for the Encounter Camp later.
To be honest, I'm not actually looking forward to it.
Sigh.
Anyway, I'll try and have a good time.
Be back on Sunday if I'm still alive by then. ;)

Ta. xxx

Wednesday, November 08, 2006 9:15 am

MORNING!
Well... these few days have been good enough :)
Went for church service on Sunday, had the encounter camp briefing...
Met a few new faces... which was like, so intimidating...
ANYWAY...
Nothing much happened on Monday... mostly because I can't recall a single thing.
TUESDAY...
GB.
Woah... Had to lead the Sec 2s for badgework...hopefully what I taught them went into their heads.
I love writing on the whiteboard, if you haven't already noticed :P
It's uber cool.
Bleah... so after GB, I phoned Pei Wen... asking if she wanted to get out of her house.
Haha, went to Great World together.
Ate lunch... then walked around.
I really wanna change my wardrobe.
WHERE ARE MY FINANCES though. :)
Ah well, I'll stick to this for a while moree.
went to this gift shop... bought CHRISTMAS CARDS!
Hehh.. you'll be surprised if I sent you a card!
HOHO... then went to this new bookstore...
HARRIS... found the OCTOBER ISSUE OF TOP OF THE POPS!
YEAH... MCFLY POSTERR...
but it's like a freaking 8.30... so... i thought it was actually cheaper than most bookstores...
but I actually figured out later that it was 40 cents more expensive. -_-
Damn.
The poster is kinda thin... so it's like... torn a little bit.
BUT, it's still on my wall now.
*swoons*
HAHA... gonna go admire it now. :)
x

Saturday, November 04, 2006 1:44 pm

Kept putting blogging off till now ;)
Kinda lazzzzzzy.
Okay, where do i start.

Wednesday
Can't remember much man...
Oh, I had extra lessons in school.
Chemistry to be exact...
Ms Lim was exceptionally funny.
Canida sat beside me.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: ' I don't feel any Chemistry between us.'
The funny thing is that it was our Chemistry teacher who said that.
XD

Thursday
Well, I drank a can of Nescafe in the evening.
I slept in the afternoon.
Which resulted in me tossing and turning up till 3 am in the morning.
GRRR.

Friday
I felt energised when i first woke up.
Went to school, and started yawning.
GEOGRAPHYYY! :) <3
We have PASSION for that subject alright!
Anyway, Math was after Geography, and hell,
PERMUTATIONS is well shit.
I can't really grasp it yet.
BESIDES, i have HOMEWORK.
GAWDDDD.
Went to VivoCity...for the first time.
But... I didn't get to look around.
Went to the basement and had JAPANESE lunch... horror of horrors! (I hate Jap food)
But it turned out to be alright.
Then went to GIANT... and back home.
Wrote a song... :) with my guitarrrrrr.
HAHA! FINALLY MAN!
Definitely proud!
Went out for dinner...
OOSH.

TODAY!
YESHHH.
Went to the library today.
YUPS...
got a few guitar books..
will seriously study them soon!
AW MAN... gotta go soon.
AND... RACHEL's coming to visit in DECEMBERRRRRR.
Definitely looking forward to that.
Canida's off to THAILAND... :)
