The conversation's getting stale
If you won't point it out, then I will
Friday, March 30, 2007 9:59 pm

Today has been a really interesting day, one I haven't had in months...much laughter and a little crying.

So it went like this...
1st lesson of the day, PE.
I was thinking maybe we didn't have to run.. but we did anyway...
I did 10 inclined pull-ups.
10.
Like, HOW AMAZING IS THAT?!
I normally will be like... struggling.
I did it with EASE today.
GOSH.
What's happening? :)

Yup, so after that, we went over to Mr C, who was teaching the girls
how standing broad jump should be done.
He was demostrating how some of us were doing it.
He actually did this... really obscene gesture of bending the knees.
It was a classic moment.
We were laughing our socks off.
AND HE DID IT MORE THAN ONCE.

Ah!
So later during SS, we had a test.
Really a shocker.
I've never answered a question of that structure before...
I hope I pass...
So that's not the important point.

Thing is...Math lesson was the last day for Mr Chia.
We didn't even give him a farewell party.
That's THANK YOU for you. :P
I really think he's amusing...although I don't really get what he's talking about sometimes. ;)
anyway...

yeah, the more important stuff that happened today was before physics.
We were waiting outside the lab, and the sky was kinda grey...looked close to raining.
We were talking and sitting down...
THEN!
There was this very bright flash and following a VERY loud thunder sound.
I quickly buried my head in my hands ...
XinYu was like... 'Are you okay?'
She said it stopped short of the railing that was about 50 centimetres from where we were sitting.
OH MY GOD.
the lighting flash that is.
I believe so.. i didn't actually see it... but it was really bright.
So scary.
THEN!
XinYu scared me from behind.. because she was sitting behind me.
OF COURSE I GOT A FRIGHT.
I always do. :(
I was already traumatised by that lightning flash to be honest.
Then came another scare.
The tears just came...
only a little though. :)
I swear my heart could've stopped then.

So I screwed the SPA 'O' level Practical.

GB, was alright.
A few more weeks and we'll officially stop going.
Kinda sad actually.
4 years.

WELL.
When I came home...guess what..
My mom told me she'd bought ELDEST!
That's the sequel to ERAGON!
OMIGOSHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I'mma gonna read it now.

seeeeeyeah.

FAKER, you try to look like you fit in
but, you don't know that they know you're not.
FAKER, i can't believe you'd do this,
but, what can i say to make to change your ways?

*screams* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. That actually still doesn't let all that pent-up anger out,
but who cares, really?
I have a need to rant, and if you don't wanna read it, I honestly
don't give a fishing damn. By fishing, I mean the F word, if anyone is
SOOOOOO ignorant.

I'm failing Physics.
I'm probably gonna fail Chemistry soon.
Then it'll be all the other stupid f subjects.
I'm stressed out by everyone putting pressure on me.
I try to act all cool about it, but I'm actually not.
Maybe it's my fault.
Maybe it's everyone else's but mine.
A holiday would do me good.
BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME.
I DO NOT HAVE ANY F***ING TIME.

-----------------------------------------------------------
On the other side of things,
I had a dream.
Yes, and Canida was in it.
Along with Dawn and others.
GODDDDDDDDD.
The funniest part was that I had to change in 5 minutes for GB,
but there wasn't anyone in sight.
Then I received an SMS.
Yes, I skimmed through the text, but the word "GHOST" was most clear.
Somehow Dawn was at my side, and I showed her the screen.
Then my cousin was there too, saying, "It's just a person lip-syncing to a song."
I looked at the screen, and guess what I saw?

CANIDA MAKING A SILLY WEIRD FACE, LIP-SYNCING TO FAHRENHEIT'S 'CHAO XI HUAN NI'.

That was SUPER weird. That dream was the most vivid one ever.
Oh my goodness. It totally freaked me out. Anyway, I got woken up by my mom to dream about anything else.

HA, moment of the day.
Okay.., best stop talking about this.

I think... it's time to study.

I'll post more soon.

dried-up tears hang on your sweater
you're still holding on to that letter, she sent you

you have read it about a hundred times
and still you see the same few awkward lines, it's the truth

you can't blame her,
cos' you're the one who let her slip away.
no you can't blame her,
cos' you're the one who threw it all away.

YAY, comments please. ;)

Monday, March 26, 2007 10:35 pm

So...
I've been doing alright.
Just that I've had a couple of down moments.
BUT, I've thought about it....
and I know escaping isn't the right thing to do...
so YEAH!
I'm going to face it. I won't bother about anyone.
I mean, I don't have to talk to anyone if I don't want to...
I'm going there for another reason. The one and only reason.

_-------------
if the above did not make any sense to you, it's probably okay.
:)

--------------------

LISTE;
it's actually 'LIST', but the 'E' at the end makes it sound more French and classier. How lame.

1. Raise Your Voice VCD
I may get this because... Oliver James and Hilary Duff are in this... not to mention acoustic guitars. ;)

2.Tank 'Keep Fighting!'
Have to get this because... it's worth the money.

3.Chris Daughtry 'Daughtry'
Could get this because... it actually appeals to me. I didn't really like Chris Daughtry... but his songs are a different matter altogether... Not exactly GREAT, but it's good. ;) Gotta ask Dawn about this. Wait, does she like Chris Daughtry?

4.Hilary Duff.
Her new album, Dignity, is out! Not that I actually looked forward to it... NO! I'll have a listen and see if it's good or not.

5. Ryan Cabrera 'You Stand Watching'
I've been itching to buy this like...forever!!! I just didn't get around to buying it because it was expensive, and the price just wouldn't drop!!! I gotta support him though. :)

That's all... I forgot what I really wanted to talk about...

Alrittttttte.
What's been going on!
i'm feeling sunburnt again...
yes, we had a drill competition yesterday.
I was a spectator.
And to be honest..
sitting in the sun for 3 hours sure hurt a lot.
sigh.
Now there are fair and tanned parts.
If you get me, that is.

Oh well, on to studying i guess.
MUGGING's in my blood; gotta believe that.
Both me and you yeah. :)

------------OUT.

Nothing much going on lately, just the usual stuff with school and stress.
I finished the book ERAGON. I loved it, period.
Edward Speelers is kinda good-looking too. ;)
Which brings me to the topic:

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG
WITH BRITISH CELEBRITIES?

What is it that they have to bring themselves to our attention?
Take me, for example.

Orlando Bloom; Okay, he is SUPER hot. Especially with long blond hair and pointed ears. I've got something for the elves. :)
Danny Jones (McFly); Thee sex, period! Minus the curly hair...sometimes. Love the talent and voice/accent.
Tom Fletcher (McFly); Yo... he created the band, and he's sweet.
Harry Judd (McFly); Smouldering eyes...has GOT to be the eyes.
Dougie Poynter (McFly); Weird, but fit.
Edward Speelers; Hello? A Rider, flying on dragons? Fighting evil? Not hot enough for you? :)
Oliver James; I doubt anyone knows him, but he acted opposite Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff in What A Girl Wants and Raise Your Voice respectively. AND, he plays guitar in BOTH movies... HOTTT or what?
Hugh Grant; Maybe he's old, but he's seriously good-looking for a middle-aged person. And, the movies he stars in normally are rom-coms, which portrays him as the gentleman. OH, and that British accent. :)

See?
I can't think of anymore... but they are examples!!!
My goodness...
You could die from drooling too much over these people. :)
Oh well.
At least I got that off my chest.
Feels good to share something redundant with no one in particular. :{

Okay, I've cooled down considerably.
I found the book hidden among my sister's stuff.
GRRR...

Well, it's the end of the holidays...
I'm soooooo sad.
Also, I've watched the last episodes of HANA KIMI.
It's even more depressing that there won't be anymore episodes to watch for a while..
The ending suggests that there MAY be a sequel... which is uber cool. :)

The fact that Fahrenheit is coming out with a new album in July/August also comforts me,
if only for a little.

SO,
I'm bored, and with so much homework left undone...
I'll go now.

10:43 am

THIS IS INFURIATINGGGGGGGG!

I can't believe I can't find my A MATH WORKBOOK.
I remembered leaving it on the table.
THEN when I wanted to finish my math questions,
POOF, I can't find it.

It was THERE a few days ago!!!!!
WHERE THE HELL HAS IT GONE TO!!!!!!!!!

(too mad to post)

ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

Thursday, March 15, 2007 9:59 pm

YEAH, WHAT'S BEEN SHAKING? :)

Okay, I'm not actually in a good mood right now, seeing as how the holidays have passed in a wink, and I haven't actually done anything constructive... I'm more or less thinking the holidays sucked.

So these few days, I've been heading back to school for extra lessons...
Not that it was productive... :S
Anyway... I've bought PRINCESS DIARIES: AFTER EIGHT.
Yes I still read the series by Meg Cabot...
WHAT?! I'm a girly girl at heart... can't take that? GET LOST.
Ha... I love the books, mostly because Michael Moscovitz sounds super-duper hot. :)
Drool-worthy if that's what you call it.
BUT NOT IN THIS BOOK HE IS!
Okay he is, but his attitude isn't!
He shouldn't be treating Mia like that...
HE SHOULD NOT BE FLYING OFF TO JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!
Not that it is entirely his fault... Mia has to take some blame for reacting like that...
BUT HE SLEPT WITH JUDITH GERSHNER!
So she had a right to freak out like that...
GRRRRRRRR...
I hate how the author gave a cliff-hanger at the end.
I'm practically screaming to read the next bit...
OH BOY, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK...
But, I just need to know one thing...
WHO ON EARTH IS J.P?
He must be from the sixth book, which I don't have... to my surprise...
I have all the others... but not the sixth book... damn.

So... Hana Kimi is coming to an end soon...
I DO WISH THERE WAS A SEQUEL!
I've been stalling to watch the ending because if I watch it... there'll be nothing left to watch anymore... :(

What else is new?
I have a LONG day tomorrow... and the day after...
HELLLLLLLLISH.

I'm gonna have to write a song by tomorrow..or else.

ARGH!

===================
I WROTE A DAMN SONG!
Not gonna post it here though.
COPYRIGHT!

Monday, March 12, 2007 10:00 pm

It's been a LONGGGGGGGGGG weekend for me.
And I've got an even LONGGGERRRRRRRRRR week ahead of me.
Which totally sucks, by the way.

BUT, let me recap. :)

Friday
Yes, PARENTS APPRECIATION NIGHT.
We kept rehearsing, and in the end, I didn't have to play the guitar anymore...
And when it was the REAL thing, they didn't even sing my song!
They replaced it with an exaggerated skit.
I don't know to be insulted or happy.
Anyway... it went well.
I was REALLLLLLLLLY tired at the end of it all though.

Saturday
First thing in the morning, we went in to Malaysia by car.
Woo...
Reached around 10?
Had brunch.
Then I stayed around cousin's house doing practically nothing..
Until it was time to go for a relative's wedding.
That was what we went in for actually...'
AND WE DIDN'T EVEN STAY FOR DESSERT! :P
We left before dessert... headed home for Singapore.
Reached at 3am!
I slept like nobody's business!

Woke up at 11?
Oops.

Monday
Woke up super early to go to school.
Which reminds me, I HAVE TO GET MY MOM TO SIGN THE GIRO FORM.
Anyway... the English workshops were alright... :)

Didn't go for Chinese as I had something else. :)
OKKAYYYYYY...

I don't wanna say much.
I'm watching HANA KIMI, thanks to DAWN for lending me her DVDS!!!

Thursday, March 08, 2007 9:03 pm

OMGAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I'm officially sunburnt.
I didn't notice the extent of the burn until I reached home...
and it started itching...
GRRRRRRRR...
It's so redddddd... :(

I feel roasted.
Anyway...
that was ALL BECAUSE OF the ROAD RUN today...@ West Coast Park.
Yes, early in the morning.
So I walked... but who cares yeah?
I know I won't be able to get into the Top 20 anyway, so why bother? :P
I feel like... a pessimist...

Yeah, the inter-class games were held then as well.
We played well... I cheered at the sidelines! :)
Of course there was one serious argument about the rules and us losing because of that mistake.
It's not worth mentioning.
We got 2nd!!! ;)

Yes, I was being a considerate person.
Some of the girls from our class helped to pick up bottles strewn all across the field.
I think that's when we got sun-burnt?
Damn.
At least we did a good thing.
:)

After that, Ting Ting, Dawn, Canida, Xin Yu, Jin Kee and I prepared to go to Cineleisure Orchard for a movie! ;)
HOWEVERRRRRRRRR... there were no CABS that were free to fetch us! :(
We waited, and I flagged MANY... but they just did not stop...
So we walked and walked... to the bus stop...
but there wasn't a bus in sight...
SOOOOOOOOOO... long story short...
we finally flagged a cab.
we needed two because Kuo Lyn and her friend also were heading there.
First cab, JinKee, XinYu, TingTing and I.
After a while, the rest also got a cab.

YEAH, at Orchard... we quickly went to get tickets... ;)
The movie we were watching was....

MUSIC AND LYRICS!
Starring HUGH GRANT and DREW BARRYMORE

then we headed for lunch! :)
YES, the movie was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.
It's a feel-good rom-com.
And if you LOVEEEEEEEE music like I do, you should definitely catch this movie!
It's funny too.
OH, you should go watch the damn movie!

After the movie, we went out... and somehow or another, XinYu and Canida lost some stuff in there..
didn't get it back though.. it was missing when they went to check again. :(

So after all the hoo-ha, they left and I went to HMV.
Yes, I looked at the racks of POP/ROCK cds... the M section, and guess what I saw?

MCFLY, MOTION IN THE OCEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*spasm*

I was like... OH MY GOSH. OH MY GOSH.
It's here.
Right there.
COSTING 50 BUCKS IT WAS!
Are they C-R-A-Z-Y?!

I am NEVER, EVER paying 50 bucks for a cd, no matter how tempting it is... ;(
LOWER THE PRICE! YOU HEAR?!??!?!?!
I wanna buy it.... :(

EEK.
I also saw FAHRENHEIT'S XIE ZHEN JI... it's like a... book about them? I don't know what it is in English.
Anyway.... I was SO TEMPTED TO BUY IT.
Just that I didn't in the end.

WHY?

Because HMV is expensive.
I'm gonna check the prices at other stores first.
YEAH... I'm that desperate... HA!

Oh well...
I'm dreading tomorrow.
I don't think I can go to school tomorrow..
So sunburnt... it's painful. :(
Damn.

Tuesday, March 06, 2007 9:32 pm

YOOOOO!
It's been quite a start to the week for me.
EMBARRASSING kinda sums it all up.

Monday
THE ONLY THING WORTH MENTIONING WAS DURING MALAY LESSON.
Yes, during Malay lesson, the teacher called someone out from each class to read out the dialogue one had to write out.
I mean, I was innocently sitting in the middle of the auditorium, minding my own damned business...about to fall asleep.
THEN, I suddenly remembered today was the 5th of March. The FIFTH, of March. FIFTH, being 5, which IS, my index number.
And you know how teachers like to call your index numbers, according to the date.
Naturally, I told JinKee, "TODAY'S THE FIFTH! WHAT IF SHE CALLS ME UP? OMYGOSH, I WANNA LEAVE..."
So JinKee told me it was an unlikely chance.
Yes, UNLIKELY.
GOSH, then the teacher looked at our class namelist for a moment, then I heard my name.
MY NAME.
RESOUNDING IN THE WHOLE AUDITORIUM.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK.
My hand went to my face.
This was NOT happening.
I seriously considered just staying in my seat.
BUT, she kept calling my name, I could not take it anymore.
I went down.

DO YOU KNOW HOW FURRRRREAKKKING SCARY IT IS TO BE IN FRONT OF A CLASS OF THIRTY-THREE PEOPLE, LET ALONE OVER A HUNDRED?! OMYLORDDD.
That was not what I wanted at ALL.

Let's just put the past behind us yeah? :)

Now, TANK.
I saw on tv today that he might be coming to Singapore to promote his latest album.
AND, being a recent fan of his, should I go? :)
I've never been to a signing before...
It should be fun, no? :D

Oh well, ROAD RUN IN TWO DAYS!
Haven't ran in a long time...
how am I gonna keep this up? ;)

=====================
small hands, thick warmth
you can always ease my rough nights

HI!
EEK, that sounded totally wrong. :)

Okay, I'm awfully tired...
but I'm still gonna update this blog! :)

COMMON TESTS ARE FINALLY OVAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!
My brain's been squeezed dry by the memorising and everything.
Still, I doubt I'll EVER get good grades.
This is sooooooo depressing.

Anyway, I went with my Mom to Suntec City yesterday.
Yes, for the annual career fair.
It's actually quite interesting to find out what courses they offer,
and which is more interesting.
I have my eyes set on the hotel and resort management, or the tourism industry for that matter,
BUT, I am not so sure myself.
Maybe I'll take up photography and then run off around the world with my camera and backpack,
taking pictures over the world.... like a photo journalist or something...
IS THERE EVEN SOMETHING AS A PHOTO JOURNALIST IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Haa...

Anyway, before that, in school, we were talking about Fahrenheit and all those stuff, AS USUAL :),
that was because Mr C was not around for one whole period.
God knows where he was... but then he suddenly comes in... and TOTALLY UNEXPECTED, he like... shouts at us. I'd think he was crazy... because after scolding us for a few minutes, and we were gonna start lessons, he said something like this: "Don't be angry la... (in Chinese)Smile a bit la..."
Some might think he has a few screws loose... angry one minute, joking the next.
I personally think it was scary at first, because I did not know he'd react like that.... but then he's actually really hilarious. :)

Anyway... later at night we met my aunt and grandmother and a cousin and her jap friend for dinner at Marche @ VivoCity.
Gosh, it's so small, and everything's not available/out of stock.
It has left an unpleasant impression on me.
I always loved going to Marche... until now.
BUT, I still love the rosti and sour cream... <33

As for today, I got up and got ready to help out at a friend's wedding.
HOWEVER, stupid me went out an HOUR early.
You know... I went out at 945am instead of 1045am?!
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
And I realised it only when I was waiting for the bus.

SERIOUSLY, HOW STUPID CAN ONE GET?!!?!??!?!?!
To top it off, I waited for about half an hour for the damned bus.
Something's terribly wrong with me.

At least something good happened.
I helped out at reception, which was quite okay...
I just waited for the guests to arrive and then take care of the money they gave.
Yup, didn't see the wedding... but that's alright.
After the whole thing, I went to get printing paper.
THEN I SAW THE HANA KIMI ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK FOR 10 BUCKS.
I BOUGHT IT IMMEDIATELY.
I don't know if it's pirated or the China version though...
MANNNNNNNNN, it was cheap alright?!
I really do hope it's the real version... :(

Alright.
Imma go and rest now.
SEEEEEEEEEEE YEAH!

ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLRIGHT!
:)

I've just got 2 more papers to go!
Tough ones though... MANNNNNNNNN.

Yeah, why do I have to keep the "BEST" for last eh? :D
Sigh, I hope I'll do well...
I did not do so well for A Math.
Nope, not at all.

Today was VERYYYYYYY cold, because of the rain, and the full blast of the fan kinda directly above me and all.
During lunch, Dawn, JinKee, PeiWen, Sherene and I were talking about... yeah you guessed it, FAHRENHEIT, and the other Taiwanese drama stuff. :)
It's kinda new for me, since I was NEVER into these stuff at first...
Not even Meteor Garden, which had F4 in it.
GOSHHHHHHH. EEEEYUCK.
:P

Oh, and Dawn has joined the FAHRENHEIT craze now!
Hana Kimi may be REALLLLLLY popular... Hmm...
I'm wanting to buy the VCD for Hana Kimi, as well as the soundtrack..
DAWN'S GETTING IT TOMORROW!
How envious am I? :)
VERYYYYYY!

I doubt I'll be getting it tomorrow though.
I'm going for the Career Fair at Suntec with my mom.
Gonna check out the choices for my FUTURE. Ha.

Anyway... I better get back to what I'm doing.
Yup...
